ITS GETTING HOT IN HERE!! I know I’ve made this post before but it’s a good time to talk about it again with the temperatures on the rise!! Most likely you are dehydrated and you don’t even know it. When you feel “thirsty” it’s already too late and your body is dehydrated! You have to stay on top of this. I can not stress enough the importance of drinking at least 80+ ounces of water a day especially in this heat. Buy a water bottle and keep it close! Eat your hydration as well! Fruits such as watermelon, oranges, and strawberries all help! It’s also important to keep your calories up for extra energy! Eat some extra fruit before working out, take in some salty foods like peanuts, cashews, almonds, trail mix, pretzels, pickles, and jerky. All of these are super quick and easy options to make sure you are properly fueled for your workouts and your day overall!
